According to the German Road Traffic Licensing Regulations (StVZO), software modifications result in the expiry of the operating licence for the respective vehicle!

Operating a motor vehicle on public roads without an operating licence also means that the liability insurer is not obliged to pay compensation in the event of damage!

Please also note that using a motor vehicle in public road traffic without sufficient insurance cover is a criminal offence in Germany!

For the aforementioned reasons, a modification inspection by an officially recognised testing organisation must be carried out immediately after installation.

Furthermore, a corresponding increase in performance means that warranty claims against the seller or manufacturer of the vehicle are no longer valid or are limited!

However, these restrictions can be compensated for with our optionally offered powertrain insurance.
